Many people who do bother to vote, end up pinning their hopes on various Centre and left of Centre political parties, they have a sort of blind faith that what gets promised when candidates call round exhorting people to trust them by voting for them is enough to do their bit, but is it ? It makes as much sense as being blindfolded and playing the old party game of ” pinning the tail on the donkey “, ie you are voting in blind faith that the aforementioned political candidate will ensure his/her Party will carry out the promises he made you to when extracting your pledge to vote for them and by default their party .
Given various statements made over the years by Ministers and former Ministers of the current Government in the United Kingdom (The Labour Party) , any who voted Labour were either fools or wished to see and be part of the destruction of the United Kingdom.
Thankfully Labour seem to be on course to lose the General Election next year, but who or what will replace them? the other two main parties seem just as bad, many of the smaller ‘ fringe parties ‘ may have good intentions but are still really finding their feet.
The two major fringe parties (British National Party, United Kingdom Independence Party) seem to offer the best options for those within the UK who want partial or full independence from the bombastic Eurocrats of the EU Super State.
To my mind the best option is to vote for the British National Party, even though I am not a member of the Party , I have read a fair amount about them, they are often on the receiving end of abuse, (by other parties and media lackeys, by thug groups like the UAF) despite all these attacks they are sorting out their party from what it was 20 yrs ago to now being recognised as a Party that could put the Great back into Britain.
Listed below are a few examples of why people should not trust Labour and their history of saying or pledging one thing and then doing an about face.
[ "We'll negotiate withdrawal from the EEC which has drained our natural resources and destroyed jobs" — Tony Blair , personal election manifestos for Beaconsfield and Sedgefield 1982 and 1983 ]
["Of course, Britain could survive outside the EU...We could probably get access to the Single Market as Norway and Switzerland do..." — The Rt Hon. Tony Blair, MP - UK Prime Minister, speech in Ghent, 23rd February 2000 ]
["The referendum should go ahead in any event. Of course it should." — Rt Hon. Tony Blair MP, Prime Minister, speech to the House of Commons, 20th April 2004 ]
["There is no question of any constitutional treaty going through without the express consent of the British people . . . Regardless of how other members vote, we will have a referendum on the subject." — Rt Hon. Tony Blair MP, Prime Minister, speech to the House of Commons, 21st June 2004 ]
["This constitutional treaty can only come into force once it has been ratified in accordance with the constitutional arrangements of each member state. In the UK, this will require primary legislation amending the European Communities Act 1972 and then endorsement in a referendum." — Rt Hon. Jack Straw MP, Foreign Secretary, speech to the House of Commons, 26th January 2005]
["We will put it to the British people in a referendum." — Gordon Brown, General Election Manifesto, 2005 ]
["The Government have consistently made it clear that the mechanism in the United Kingdom whereby the European draft constitutional treaty could be implemented is approval by the House of Commons followed by a referendum of the people of Britain. There is no question of implementing it by the back door." — Douglas Alexander, Europe Minister, speech to the House of Commons, 31st January 2006 ]

ed- The Czech government has announced that they may not be able to ratify the Lisbon treaty for another 4 months due to constitutional difficulties, in other words, it breaks their constitutional law. We may still get our referendum, but it won’t be whilst Gordon Brown holds the premiership.
