Calls for BNP to Merge With UKIP

Since David Cameron reneged on his promise to hold a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty/EU Constitution, there have been many members of the public calling for the British National Party (BNP) & the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) to merge.
Typical reactions to Cameron’s treachery included; a message of intent to vote for either UKIP or the BNP, voting for one of the two, with several commentators suggesting that the two parties should merge.
The Benefits
- Two members of the House of Lords
- 15 MEPs combined
- 200+ (?) Councillors
- 5,000 Activists
- The ability to raise more than a million pounds in campaign funds for the general election
Drawbacks
- It is easy for a voter to ask why two of their preferred parties cannot merge because they’re generally not ideologues, they’re interested in policy. UKIP are civic nationalists and the BNP are ethno-nationalists, what is interesting is that the form of British Nationalism espoused by Lee Barnes would be the amalgamation of the two ideologies. Whether this would be acceptable to both parties is unclear.
- UKIP is heavily indebted, figures of £700,000 + are being touted.
- The two parties internal structures are polar opposites. UKIP use an elected board -The National Executive Committee (NEC). Long-term nationalists will never approve of this system because of the potential for splitting and the development of factions. (This has occurred with UKIP)
- Let’s face it, the BNP has an image problem. You’re not going to get the average UKIP member to transfer their allegiance to a super-party if all the media are going to do is label it the BNP rebranded. Which it would be, as despite UKIP’s greater electoral success ,the BNP has a higher profile, thanks to the smears.
Before you all go off on a rant – UKIP wasn’t set up to counter the BNP, that is nonsense, the BNP was politically insignificant in 1993, the year UKIP were founded. Although recently, the media has promoted them to that end.
I recognise that this is a waste of pixels, let’s have some fun. How about a name for this hypothetical Eurosceptic super-party?

Hows about…..UBNP United British Nazi Party
I can't see Farage having any of that can you?!
I’d vote for them, anything to get out of this mess.
I say only on our terms, and when put to the voting membership of the BNP. Honestly though, I think we are doing fine really, with all the smears etc etc, the hate filled garbage protesting against Nick Griffin, and the QT debacle… let's stay BNP and true to the cause. The BNp is a true Nationalist icon.
Cee U Next Tuesday.
i was thinking since the bookies are now giving 500 to 1 on a bnp glasgow north east. what would stop some one placing a tenner bet and then getting on say face book and telling about seven thousand friends to do the same then they need to cast their votes of course .what would be wrong with making a few bob before christmas of course it will not be as much as the mps expenses. but whats wrong with making money giving the mainstream parties a good kicking and exercising your democratic vote
how about THE NEW CONSERVATIVES cause lets face it we are not that far right anymore and the torys are so far left they might as well rebrand themselves as the SOCIALIST COMMUNIST UNDERDOG PARTY or SCUM for short. And is Kilroy making a return ? he hasnt been on t.v for yrs then turns up on question time.
I hope this doesn't happen. UKIP may have plenty of noble, well-intentioned members, but a UKIP merger will dilute the message of the BNP.
I think the strategy should be to reach out to UKIPers who are usually right-wing and anti-multiculturalism, and convert them to ethno-nationalism. It's a doable ideological jump. I made it; you just have to see the failures of civic nationalism reach all portions of the country, rather than it being contained in cities. I currently reside in a rural part of America that is already being invaded just like the coasts, last night I was stocking shelves and overhearing people blabber in Spanish.
Only the very elite of society, who will no doubt live in gated communities, will be protected from the transformation of the whole country. Everyone else will have their feet on the fire, and it will be curious to see how many of those who fight for UKIP will continuing insisting that it's not about race, but culture. As if culture exists in a vacuum.
I do not think that this is as far fetched as it sounds, however, as I have said constantly all people, members and supporters with a love of country and all things British , could and should forget their personal grievences and petty differences and join together for the good of our country and our people, it will be no good bleating about what could have been when Sharia law is introduced and a Muslim state created within a federal Europe.
When power is taken from the corrupt bunch of Marxist traitors like Straw and his crew and the inept Gordon Clown we can sort out the fine detail, even then, everyone will have a responsibility to act with the best interests of Britain at heart and NOT for themselves and what they can put into their pockets, if we stand together we can have something we have never had, the right to rule our country for the good of the country and the people and, to decide our future without interference.
Ukip 'politicians' have shown themselves to be self centred and interested only with how much they can put into their pockets and this is incompatible to the BNP policy.
Here we come to the hard part; the BNP in the eyes of the establishment are racist and fascist because of past association, because of the propaganda passed on through the establishment media this label has stuck in the mind of the public, the perception is slowly changing but will take time, and time is something we are lacking, every member and supporter has a duty to understand that any idle comments could cost us as a party dear and also the true nationalist cause which believes in peace for our country and it's people.
More than ever we need to have a clear political image which firmly shuts the door on past associations, Mr Griffin I understand has said that there is a 'glass ceiling' of how far he can take the party and while there is no doubt that he is a great leader who has brought the party firmly into the main political arena, I do think that the other leaders should show themselves more on the website adding to the chairman's updates to supporters and members.
One might say that all this costs money, however, the personal public image of every leader of our party is easy to cultivate and if anyone from the gutter press brings some comment or whatever from the past admit it and admit that we have moved on.
Assertiveness training states that every one of us makes mistakes and we are allowed to do so providing that we are not wilfully hurting one's neighbour or, in the case of the majority of this Labour 'government' hurting one's country and people, you see my point?
The British national Party has moved on and has become a party of the people for the people, let us all stand together against a corrupt 'New labour and the likes of Jack Straw, and against a European Federal State which seeks to destroy us as a land and people.
I agree with you entirely, I would not like a merger with the present antagonism in UKIP against the BNP which shows weakness and personal failure to put love of one's country above personal interest.
When UKIP MEP's went to Europe they said they were going to make "shedloads of money" but when Nick Griffin was elected to go there it was to fight for the people of the UK and expose the corruption in the EU, UKIP have no real policies that would benefit the UK whereas the British National Party has a definate manifesto which is to the benefit of British people and will not change, race, culture and nation is what we are about and the belief in this standard for every country, on this basis rests stability , to think and act differently invites chaos and the slippery slope towards anarchy.
Firstly, I think that Nick Griffin's previous assessment of UKIP is correct – that they are a state safety valve. Thus, I cannot see any chance of Nigel Farage, et al wanting to merge. Plus Nick would want to lead the new party.
Secondly, and I think this is far more important, many UKIP and BNP members would resign as a compromise would inevitably be too much for many of UKIP's civil nationalists and our hardliners. Thus it would ultimately achieve nothing.
Finally, the BNP has established itself as a household name, and to a lesser extent so have UKIP. A new name would confuse many voters, and the new party would have to start from scratch in establishing its reputation with the electorate.
I personally believe the BNP is rapidly advancing and growing, and I think another five or ten years could see us as a major player in British politics. I think therefore, that joining with UKIP would be a disaster, and would probably result in splits a few years down the road anyway.
There can nor will be a new merger.
However, our parties can strongly expand each voter base by holding hands (on our common ground) and making that wall against the corrupt three who are already doing it against the people right now.
If you ever digest the website http://www.tpuc.org. We might garner more common friends and influence.
Remember: A man on his own is as nothing.. Men working together can move the world.
On a lighter note. Some name would have to be non-partisan and appeal to 'drones'. How about "UK Out"?
Top priority is to stop the spread of communism via the EU, so we should work with any EU sceptic. Cameron is not showing his EU hand until after the election, if he wins with a landslide then he will have the opportunity rid his party of Clark and his Bilderberg friends, if its a small majority then were stuffed as he will be saying yes to every faction in his left wing party. Remember we are dealing with communist here so this merger could be a distraction and a way to destroy all ground gained by BNP and UKIP. These commies do set up their own opposition so they can control both sides, just look at LAB/CON/LIB.
BNP join-up with UKIP? I would be apprehensive about cooperating with UKIP, nevermind letting them into our party. They have passed their use by date, their bubble has burst, their poll numbers are dropping and they are in debt…
Surely the BNP must never cooperate with such a minor and vacuous party. We would be opening the party up to nasty bickering, politicking and backstabbing. I do not want Nick to be surrounded by a cabal of incompetence.
All British people know, even if they publicly decry the BNP, that we will do what we say, and that we say what we mean. No other party does this. The only problem we have is that many voters just haven’t reached that breaking point yet and either joined the BNP or voted for the BNP. As we know Britons have a high level of patience and detrmination.
Steadily we will see our numbers rise, high profile individuals will join the party and we will eventually become a major party. That takes hard work and popular support. Taking the easy route of amalgamation can only create a sense of unease and intra-BNP dissent.
No, I argue against any BNP-UKIP union. Make them surrender to the BNP by getting UKIP to advise its members to join us. Then we may be onto a winner in dealing with UKIP.
