Asked by a voter during the Euro election where the BNP was as far as being left or right I gave him this answer: The British National Party is neither on the left or right of mainstream politics. The party is a nationalist party. It stands for Britain and the British people. Unlike other parties, people from the left, right and centre choose to vote BNP because of the policies it offers for Britain and not bound by the dogma the others represent.

Great article and explained well, i've often said to people that the BNP are not far right but a mixture of right and left. I think the term "Far Right is used to scare people off more than anything especially when you add "extremists" to the end of it.
