UAF Hounding Birmingham University Lecturer

Victim: Dr Andrew Glover
The hardcore communists of Unite Against ‘Fascism’ have demanded the sacking of a lecturer whom they believe to be a BNP member.
Visiting music conductor Andrew Glover of Birmingham University has been singled out by the anti-democratic group who said: “Members of the fascist BNP should not be allowed into our education system.
“We demand that Andrew Glover be removed from his role at Birmingham City University.”
How the hard-left organisation claim to know Dr Glover’s private political beliefs is not clear, however, possession of the outdated BNP membership list is illegal.
Simon Darby, deputy leader of the BNP, said: “It is quite ironic that an organisation that professes to be against fascism is insisting that someone who holds political views different to theirs should be sacked.
“I think people across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands will see this.
“It is vindictive, almost medieval behaviour, similar to a witchhunt.
“All people have different political views but you don’t bring them into a professional body.
“He is merely a member, or an alleged member, of the BNP and is being driven from his job as a result.”
A spokesman for Birmingham City University said it took its duty of care to staff and students seriously.
“The university, therefore, accepts that the political beliefs of its staff are a private matter. But we also want to make clear that if such views affect that person’s work and professional relationships then the university will consider its response.”
Dr Glover is a specialist in Composition, Music history (20th Century) ,World Music
(Celtic, Middle Eastern), Aesthetics and Teaching. He has won numerous awards in the USA, Poland and Italy.
